The story of how DSF started is a simple one. DSF was founded by individuals that have been in the freight forwarding industry for decades. As experts of the industry, the founders shared a common thought that an integrated planning-to-execution service was a large need in the market, whereby customers can have comfort in knowing that their shipments are in good hands. Hence, the founders of DSF committed themselves to building an entity to leverage on the body of knowledge and expertise amassed over the years.

The freight forwarding industry and its operators (commonly known as non-vessel operating common carrier), simply put, works to organize shipments/deliveries for companies and individuals to move goods from point A to point B. As forwarders, we contract with a carrier (or carriers when required) to coordinate and work as the expert in the logistics and supply chain network.

Freight forwarders also play a role in document administration and transfer with regards to other transportation companies – which can often be a convoluted and complex activity due to the varying nature of different political and regulation landscapes.
